Attended a christmas dinner hosted by RCMP at the Native friendship centre on George Street on December 9,1994.
she left around 8 pm and was seen at the Holiday Inn also on george street and J.C. Funland.At 11:45 pm that same night police where called to Haldi road school on Leslie road.Three people cutting through the school yard came across the body of a young women.It was Leah Germaine.An autopsy revealed she was the victum of multiple stab wounds.
The 16 year old was a known drug user and was known to work the city streets as a prostitute.
Friends say she was changeing her ways and straighting out her life.
she was only 15 when she was murdered. Leah was found dead in a school yard in December 1994.She was stabbed multiple times.Leah had a rough life growing up but she was 1 of the most honest dedicated person I have ever met. She ran around the night that she got murdered saying he is going to kill me!!! NOBODY paid attention to that they just let her leave. The next morning she was found MURDERED.They wrote it off as a prositute got murdered by her John. More then 10 years later they realized she was a victim of the highway 16 murders.There has never been any closure or arrests in her murder.I would like to see closure for her mother DEBBIE it has been 13 years since Leahs Murder and it quite disturbs the whole family thank you for your help we need to put this person or people behind barsw.Kee[ the search alive never give up please!!!!!!!!
